Komodo
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, Komodo is a place rich in species both on land and in the ocean. In addition to thousands of fish and 260 species of coral, you can also encounter many large marine animals, including sea wolves, jackfish, manta rays, sharks, and whale sharks. At times, you might even see a large school of hammerhead sharks. Furthermore, Komodo Island is home to the world's largest reptile—the Komodo dragon. There are only about 2,000 Komodo dragons left, with some reaching up to 3 meters in length and weighing 70 kilograms. Diving in Komodo offers not only the chance to see the world's largest fish but also to encounter the world's largest reptile!
