Maldives

Ocean water temperatures rarely vary beyond 27 to 30 degree Celsius although thermo clines can sometimes be experienced in depths below 20 meters. During hot periods, water temperatures inside the lagoon increase measurably. During these periods most divers are comfortable diving without a wet-suit, although those of slighter build may shiver a little. During overcast periods with wind and rain squalls, it is wise to carry extra clothing on the boat for use after diving. Lycra and 3mm wetsuits are popular in tropical waters but some divers prefer a 5mm suit if going for more than one dive a day.
Special diving rules issued by Maldives' tourism board Unguided diving is only allowed for those diver - with advanced level diver certificate; and - 30 logged dives in the past 18 months
Entry visa is not required for BNO and SAR passport holders to stay in Maldives is less than 3 months. (six months of validity.)
